Romney (and his family) directly benefited from the social safety net, and now he wants to pull the ladder up behind him.
This shit literally brings tears to my eyes. My father worked for thirty years before sustaining massive head injuries in a car accident. He can’t work any more and so collects disability. What kind of education do you think my little brothers and sisters can afford? My older brothers and sisters and I had to bust our asses working through high school as well as earning full-ride academic scholarships just so we could get out of Youngstown, Ohio, which is an economic black hole, not unlike Mitt’s hometown of Detroit.
Fuck you, Mitt.
These are so great. My personal favorites are the WWII vet and his own father.
